Fund Strategy
Invests predominantly in registered first mortgages and mortgage-backed securities. Mortgages will typically be for a period of 3 to 5 years, secured by a spread of commercial, industrial, retail, and residential properties. No single loan will exceed 5% of the total assets of the Trust at the time the loan is approved. Loans will normally be limited to two-thirds of the value of the property security. Investment ranges: mortgages and mortgage-backed securities 60-90%, cash 10-40%.
