David Jones (DJS) has entered a department store exclusive agreement with Australian designer Nicola Finetti.
In a statement, the department store said the designer's collections will be available from the start of the autumn/winter 2014 season in February next year.
The move highlights the increasing trend by Australian department stores Myer (MYR) and David Jones (DJS) to sign exclusive brands in a bid to attract customers in a pressured retail environment.
Nicola Finetti said joining David Jones would allow the brand to grow and prosper.
