Ron founded InvestSMART in 1999, pioneering access to ETF portfolios for everyday Australians. A passionate advocate for long-term, low-cost investing, he champions helping investors achieve specific financial goals. Ron is recognised as an expert in ETFs and accessible investment strategies.

Gaurav Sodhi, Intelligent Investor, deputy head of research

Gaurav is a trained economist and a keen boxer. His successful track record as a private investor and a lifelong fascination with rocks and minerals lead to him becoming Intelligent Investor’s resources analyst in 2009. As well as resources, Gaurav covers telecommunications, power infrastructure, and retail.

John Addis, Intelligent Investor, editor.

John founded Intelligent Investor in 1998. John is the author of “How not to lose $1 million dollars. How to win at investing by losing less”. John's storytelling approach makes his analysis of the stocks he does and doesn’t invest in entertaining and enlightening. He loves to discuss investing psychology, macroeconomics and charismatic CEOs.

Nick Cummins, Intelligent Investor, international equities analyst

Nick is a style agnostic investor with a passion for running and annual reports. He has a degree in Finance from Westminster College (Utah, United States). Upon returning to Australia, he worked as an analyst focusing primarily on international businesses. He joined Intelligent Investor in 2022.
