It's becoming increasingly difficult to argue that the tablet computing trend is just a passing craze, particularly when you lay out all of the facts.
Firstly, according to recent research by InMobi, tablets are showing a strong uptake trend in Australia and New Zealand.
Secondly, as IDC's Amy Cheah frequently reminds us, PC sales are dwindling in Australia.
Finally, recent research from NPD has gone as far as to say that tablets will overtake PC's as our main method of computing by 2016.
With this in mind, today's infographic from InMobi provides a snapshot of the device trend in Australia – with the most notable point being the 34 per cent rise from Q1 in tablet impressions across the Australian InMobi network.
