Executing the Kony battle plan
After capturing the imagination of millions on the web last month the creators of Kony 2012, Invisible Children, are evidently taking their time with the sequel.
The charity has certainly done the hard yards; people are still talking about them, not always for the right reason, and the media is poised to cover their every move. It hasn't brought us any closer to apprehending Joseph Kony but a whole lot of people now know who he is.
The second Kony video is designed to keep the buzz going as the planend day of action on April 20 gets closer.For those not in the know, day of action will invlove those committed to the Kony cause putting up posters around their city promoting the “Stop Kony” campaign.
Now it's a bit much to ask the everyday media consumer to turn up to an event a month after watching a moving campaign video. So this latest video is aimed at re-engaging the public right before the poster campaign. It's all part of the Invisible Children's campaign battle plan.
