This option aims to outperform (after fees and taxes) the rate of increases in inflation as measured by the CPI by 3.5% per annum over rolling 15-year periods.
Fund Strategy
To invest in a portfolio of Australian and global infrastructure assets. This is through unlisted infrastructure funds which invest in a diverse range of infrastructure sectors such as electricity distribution networks, airports, seaports, pipelines, toll roads, water utilities and other areas. Typically the assets will be equity investments and the average gearing level is moderate, but ranges from low to high depending on the asset. Investment is primarily in operating assets, but may include some development projects.
