The strategy of the Macquarie True Index Sovereign Bond managed fund is The Fund aims to generate income and capital growth. The Fund makes two types of investments. Firstly, it invests in a Portfolio of Australian government, semi government, government guaranteed corporate and credit securities (Portfolio). Secondly, the Fund has entered into a swap agreement (Swap) with Macquarie Life Ltd (Macquarie Life) whereby the Fund pays the returns it receives from its investments in the Underlying Fund to Macquarie Life and, in return, Macquarie Life pays to the Fund the Index return.
