The objective of the HFA Octane Series 2 managed fund is The investment objective of the Fund is to gain enhanced exposure to the performance of a portfolio of diversified international absolute return funds whilst preserving capital and generating positive returns over the long term in all market conditions.
The strategy of the HFA Octane Series 2 managed fund is To achieve its investment objectives, the Octane Fund will hold a Swap, Zero Coupon Bonds, foreign currency hedge instruments (to substantially hedge foreign currency risk) and cash or cash equivalent investments. The proportion of the Octane Portfolio allocated between these types of investments will be adjusted by HFA as and when required, with the goal of achieving the maximum allocation to the Swap possible, in accordance with Dynamic Management.
