Fund Objective
The Trust is invested in Australian equity securities selected with the aim of producing a portfolio that outperforms the Small Ordinaries Accumulation Index. The Manager targets to outperform the S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries Accumulation Index by 4-5% per annum over a full market cycle with a tracking error of 5% per annum, before taking into account Trust fees and expenses.
Fund Strategy
Quantitative techniques are used to determine the selection of securities in the portfolio, and the Manager actively controls portfolio risk through an optimisation process which analyses the trade-off between anticipated returns and each security's contribution to portfolio volatility.
