To provide long-term capital growth by investing predominantly in small Australian companies. The option aims to outperform the S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries Accumulation Index over rolling three year periods before fees and taxes.
Fund Strategy
The fund's strategy is based on the belief that, over the medium-to-long term, stock prices are driven by the ability of management to generate excess returns over their cost of capital in their chosen industry. Management is a critical determinant in the assessment of small company investment opportunities outside the S&P/ASX 50 Index. The fund seeks to own companies with strong balance sheets to be able to withstand short-term shocks to their operating environment.
