VanEck Gold Miners ETF (GDX) is an exchange-traded fund which gives investors exposure to a portfolio of companies involved in the gold mining industry. It generally invests in the securities that are constituents of the NYSE Arca Gold Miners Index (AUD_NTR) and aims to track the performance of the Index (with net dividends reinvested) in Australian dollars, before taking into account fees, expenses and tax.
