Brightstar Resources Limited has successfully completed a comprehensive funding package consisting of a A$193 million equity raise and a US$120 million debt facility. This financing ensures that the Goldfields Project is fully funded to achieve gold production targeted for mid-2027, and also supports the advancement of the Sandstone Project to its Final Investment Decision (FID) expected by late CY27 or early CY28. The company has secured total available liquidity of $383 million, with plans to recommence site development and construction at the Goldfields Project while maintaining significant budget allocations for exploration and growth drilling at Sandstone. This strategic move positions Brightstar to significantly increase gold production and leverage substantial resources, with the Goldfields Project anticipated to generate 75,000 ounces of gold annually and produce A$1 billion in free cash flow over six years. Brightstar's Managing Director, Alex Rovira, emphasized the importance of this funding in driving growth despite challenging market conditions and highlighted the company's strong balance sheet as a buffer against capital market uncertainties.
