Argonaut Resources NL (ASX:ARE)

Argonaut Resources NL, soon to be renamed Orpheus Uranium Limited, announced the acquisition of a significant uranium exploration asset, the Woolshed project. This project is located in the south-eastern portion of the Frome Embayment in South Australia and is highly prospective for sedimentary-hosted roll-front and tabular-style uranium mineralisation. The acquisition includes two non-contiguous blocks with a combined area of 87km². The Northern Block features a portion of the Yarramba Palaeochannel, a high-priority target due to minimal historical drilling, while the Southern Block contains the headwaters of the Yarramba Palaeochannel. This acquisition significantly expands Argonaut's exploration footprint in the area, and exploration activities are set to commence following the grant of tenure. The company aims to focus on its Australian uranium assets, leveraging its holdings in South Australia and the Northern Territory where uranium mining and processing are permitted.
