Investing in the K2 Select International Fund

I would like to know if it's possible to invest some funds from my super fund account which is managed by Dixon Advisory as a self-managed super fund into the K2 Select International Fund (Top fund managers: K2 Select International Fund, July 8).

Please advise how to go about it if it is at all possible. I wish to thank you for providing this information.

Daniella D'Ambrosio's response: Thanks for your letter. We contacted Dixon and it seems that their clients are able to purchase most funds as they don't use a platform. So, you might be able to purchase the K2 Select International Fund directly with your SMSF if you wished to, however, it would be best to check with your investment advisor.

Also, be aware that the minimum initial investment of $1,000 mentioned at the end of the article is very specific to the platform brightday uses. The brightday platform allows a minimum investment of $1,000 in managed funds. If you were to go directly through K2 the minimum initial investment is listed as $20,000 on the PDS.
