Woodside Petroleum (WPL) has kept its full-year production guidance unchanged, despite posting a year-on-year fall in third-quarter production.
In the three months to September 30, Woodside produced 21.9 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe), a 17.4% decrease on 26.5 MMboe in the previous corresponding quarter.
In the same period, Woodside said sales were 20.9 MMboe, a 15.7 decline on the 24.8 MMboe in the previous corresponding period.
Despite the results, Woodside said its production guidance for the full year remained unchanged at between 85 and 89 MMboe.
