With the ASX200 taking another 1 per cent swoon today (Monday August 31) to close at 5207 points the word 'volatility' is going to pop up more than once when we get the big guns into the studio this week for our much anticipated special webcast on Wednesday at 12.30pm.

The word 'opportunity' will also make regular appearances as Alan Kohler, Clay Carter and Simon Dumaresq join me in the studio for a special update on the markets. We're going to review what happened in the results season.  What's next for this bashed up market? And we'll consider how you – the Eureka Report subscriber – can emerge a winner.

On Thursday Alan Kohler is sitting down with two very interesting small cap CEOs. At 11am it's Chris Reed, the managing director at Neometals which is a specialist in lithium and titanium, those metals much needed in new technologies. Later on at 5.45pm David Griffiths the managing director at intellectual property company IPH will be in for an interview. IPH stands out as one of the few companies that has been sailing higher on the market as stocks all around them have been trounced in recent weeks.

It has to be said the interview of the week is shaping up as Andrew Grech on Monday September 7 at 2.30pm. Grech is of course the managing director of Slater and Gordon, the legal company which had lost almost half its value before the correction even hit due to accounting irregularities (in relation to its takeover of the services arm of UK legal group Quindell).

Keen-eyed Eureka Report readers will also know that Slater and Gordon is in Alan's personal share portfolio, which you can check anytime by going to the Team Portfolio tab or clicking here. Due to the time spot (Grech will be in Singapore, Alan in Melbourne) this interview will not be live – it will be recorded and published later.

Remember you can put in questions to any session in advance. I would recommend especially putting advance questions into our Wednesday webcast which I expect will be the best attended this year... so far!  (To place a question in advance just click here.)
