We had a tremendous response to our webcast last week where our analyst team answered your questions on their portfolios and what they've been buying and selling in recent times. If you missed it have a look here: Reporting season review webcast.

In fact, the venture was so popular we've decided to make it a regular item: In the weeks ahead I will interview one of our analysts every Wednesday and we will include the 15 minute session in the Wednesday edition of Eureka Report. This Wednesday I will get the ball rolling with head of research and income specialist James Samson in the hot seat.

Also this week in the studio we have Chris Stott, the chief investment officer at Wilson Asset Management, hosted by Mitchell Sneddon. Stott will be discussing the latest offering from the team, WAM Leaders Limited (WLE) - WLE is the teams first foray into large cap territory.

You will also have noticed we have asked each of the analysts to file a quarterly report on the progress of their chosen stocks in the last few editions: Today small caps specialist Simon Dumaresq comes to the party armed with a very good record indeed especially if you were smart enough to get on board with Netcomm, AMA or Vita Group. Who is Simon backing now? Make sure you read our lead feature this evening: Growth stocks: Behind our portfolio's winning performance.

Income First model portfolio update

There were no changes to the income first model portfolio last week. The portfolio continues to trade well, with recent upside in FXL and GEM providing optimism for future outperformance.

The banks continue to provide a source of volatility, but underweight holdings are in line with our objective for outperformance of the All Ordinaries accumulation index.

LIC model portfolio update

Last week we said goodbye to Cadence Capital Limited (CDM) for now and this week we say hello to Bailador Technology Investments (BTI). BTI opens the doors to expansion stage private equity investments, something the average investor generally would not have access to. Trading at a discount with a proven track record, solid management and some fresh capital from one of the best long-term investment teams in Washington H. Soul Pattinson (SOL) there is a lot to like about this new position. Read the full piece here: Saying hello to Bailador Technology Investments.

In other news we have Chris Stott joining us this week to talk about the upcoming IPO for WAM Leaders Limited. BKI Investment Company's Share Purchase Plan is in full swing. I caught up with chief executive Tom Millner for a coffee and he was very excited about the opportunity to be able to deploy further capital into high quality businesses at attractive long term entry points.

To read more on my take on BKI's SPP, make sure you check our letters to the editor section on Wednesday.
