The Twitter Games

In many ways, the social media storm around the Olympics has been more interesting that the games themselves.

Twitter sure has caused some controversies over the course of the Olympics. It’s apparently cost athletes medals; seen journalist chucked off the service and raised questions as to whether anyone (including Twitter HQ itself) can control social media.

Some (like myself) might argue that the coverage around the technology challenging the traditional structure of the Olympics games has been more interesting than the event itself.
