With Facebook now finally on the market, all eyes have now turned to predicting the future of the social media giant. As Alan Kolher points out in his piece, Facebook's longevity will rely on whether it is able to further captialise on its advertising services - particularly in Asia and Latin America.

With that in mind, today's infographic is a comparison between Facebook and its major internet advertising rival Google.

It seems that both companies may have cause to be jealous of one another.

Earlier this year a former Google exec, James Whittaker said that the company was jealous of the amount of information Facebook has on its users, as that information allows it to better tailor advertisements to its users. Well, as it goes, Facebook may also envy the success of Google's advertising service as it looks to be on the rise.

Today's infographic was sourced from Mashable and was created by WordStream.
