This report is a quarterly analysis by the Trend Micro Threat Analysis Team that describes cyber-security threats from the previous quarter combined with analysis to evaluate and anticipate emerging attacks.
Australia and New Zealand combined was rated the third-highest region for hosting Apple-targeted phishing sites, accounting for 10.7 per cent of the phishing sites blocked globally in the third quarter. Android users are also a prime target for cyber-criminals, with the number of malicious and high-risk apps reaching 1 million in the quarter.
