Rue resigns as News CFO

Stephen Rue has reigned as chief financial officer of News Corp (NWS) Australia and will depart the company in coming weeks.

In a statement, News Corp Australia chief executive officer Julian Clarke said paid tribute to Mr Rue's "significant" contribution to the company over 17 years.

News Corp said it will announce a replacement for Mr Rue shortly.
