RM Williams solvency check
RM Williams Agricultural Holdings, which owns carbon and cattle stations in Queensland and the Northern Territory, has appointed insolvency firm PPB Advisory as administrators. Former News Ltd head Ken Cowley runs the company and is also the chief shareholder. The receivership does not affect the RM Williams fashion and boot retailer. RM Williams Agricultural Holdings owns the 516,800-hectare Henbury carbon farm and the Labelle Downs and Welltree stations in the NT and Mirage Plains and Inglewood Farms in Queensland.
