Ramsay founder admitted to hospital
Board advises Paul Ramsay admitted to hospital in Europe 'in a serious condition'.
Chairman and founder of Ramsay Health Care (RHC), Paul Ramsay has been admitted to hospital in Europe.
The board of Ramsay said Mr Ramsay was in a serious condition, and expressed "deep concern" for their chairman.
According to the most recent annual report, Mr Ramsay holds a 36.5% stake in private health care provider, which at the current price values his holding at $3.2 billion.
The board said it will keep the market informed of Mr Ramsay’s condition.
