Qantas, WA ink $7.7m deal

Airline to market the state in Australia and to visitors from UK, US, Singapore.

Qantas Airways (QAN) and the Western Australian government have inked a $7.7 million agreement to market the state at home and internationally.

In a statement, the airline said it would target visitors from the United Kingdom, United States, Singapore and Australia. 

Chief executive Alan Joyce said the agreement would deliver dividends for the state.
