The Apple-Samsung patent debacle has reached a substantial milestone and you can bet there's at least one group of people who are truly ecstatic about it: the judges.
Apple and Samsung's international legal stoush more than likely pushed many of the world's justices to the brink. You only need look at their comments in the courtroom to see this was the case.
Take for instance, US district Judge Lucy Koh, who asked Apple's lawyer if he was “smoking crack” when he attempted to introduce 75 page list of witnesses to the case.
And who could forget UK High Court judge Colin Birss' ruling that Samsung's tablets were not violating Apple's patents because they were “not as cool” as the iPad.
We hope that these judges are currently taking a well-deserved holiday, because with Samsung set to appeal its $1billion patent penalty, this saga is still far from over.
On that note, here's a funny infographic created by Joyoftech.com and sourced from TechnoBuffalo on the Apple-Samsung case.
