Orica chemicals chief resigns

Orica (ORI) Executive Global Head Chemicals Alison Andrew is set to depart the group to take up the position of chief executive officer of Transpower New Zealand Limited.

In a statement to the Australian Securities Exchange, Orica said Andrew Larke will take up Ms Andrew's former role, in addition to his existing position as executive global head of strategy and planning.

“The offer to become CEO of a major company in New Zealand is a terrific opportunity and I wish Alison all the best," Orica chief executive officer Ian Smith said.
