Nine Entertainment's COO says the network is eyeing opportunities in regional TV and in radio.

Nine Entertainment’s chief operating officer has defended boss David Gyngell following his Bondi punch-up with James Packer and said the network is considering acquisitions in regional TV, outdoor and radio.
