Construction giant Leighton Holdings (LEI) has named managing directors for its four divisions, after yesterday saying it plans to streamline its operations.

Construction will be led by David Jurd, currently the executive general manager of Leighton Contractors' infrastructure arm.

Mining will be headed by Bruce Munro, currently managing director of Thiess.

Public-private partnerships will be led by Angel Muriel, who is now Leighton Holding's chief development officer.

Engineering will be run by Craig Laslett, currently managing director of Leighton Contractors.

Yesterday, Leighton said it was considering divesting some of its businesses and planned to streamline its operating model across the four key divisions.

Leighton confirmed three managers would continue in their roles: Ian Edwards will continue to lead Leighton Asia, India and Offshore; Glenn Palin will remain in charge of John Holland and Mark Gray will continue to head Leighton Properties.

The construction group said its construction business will be branded Leighton Contractors, while mining will be branded Thiess.
