Infigen losses blow out
Infigen Energy hopes its performance will improve this year.
Infigen Energy Ltd expects an improvement in investment conditions after the federal election and a boost in US production to boost its performance in the coming year, after widening its full-year loss in fiscal 2013.
In the year to June 30, Infigen's net loss was $79.97 million, 43 per cent wider than the $55.87 million loss recorded in the previous year.
The result included a non-cash impairment of $58.4 million related to its US Cash Generating Unit.
In the same period revenue was $302.64 million, a 6.8 per cent increase on the $283.47 million in fiscal 2012.
Infigen declined to pay a dividend.
