Frankenstein shoot location a mystery

PRODUCTION on I, Frankenstein, written and directed by Stuart Beattie, will start in January, with Aaron Eckhart (pictured) playing the legendary creature who has survived to the modern day. There's no confirmation yet of where the film will be shot, but with sources close to both Fox Studios and Melbourne Dockland Studios claiming ignorance of the project, speculation leads to the Village Roadshow Gold Coast facility. The I, Frankenstein announcement, by Lakeshore Entertainment, Lionsgate and Hopscotch, which will distribute the film in Australia, casts further doubt on the sequel to Tomorrow, When The War Began, which was due to start filming in NSW in September with Beattie at the helm.
