Fairfax Media (FXJ) will stop printing its BRW magazine in December as it looks to position the title as a digital property by offering its content online for free, The Australian Financial Review reports.
According to the newspaper, Fairfax Media group director of business media Sean Aylmer toldBRW staff at midday.
An email to staff said the move was part of a wider transformation of Fairfax.
“Fairfax Media is focused on quality content and working with our audiences to ensure they receive our content in a way that works for them,” Mr Aylmer said in the email.
The final print edition of BRW will be published on November 28.
