Eureka's New Publishing Schedule

We’re changing the rotation! Since we launched nine wonderful years ago Eureka Report has always published on three weekdays: Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Subscribers also receive Alan Kohler’s Saturday morning email.

But as we constantly remind investors … nothing stays the same for long.

Every reader survey we’ve done in recent times revealed subscribers had two outstanding concerns.

1. Our subscribers want explicit direction in the investment markets. In other words, they want us to tell them directly what to do.

We like to think we’ve gone a long way towards delivering this outcome. Since July 1, 2013, working under a general advice licence, Eureka Report gives explicit ‘Buy’, ‘Sell’ or ‘Hold’ recommendations on local and overseas equities. In the months ahead we will widen this service to include fixed income securities and related investment products. We also offer clear strategic advice through our investment committee, where our key economic calls are made by our in-house strategist Adam Carr.

2. Our subscribers have continually told us they ‘don’t have time’ to read all three weekday editions. Well, we’ve listened to these concerns and we’re moving to a twice-a-week format from this Monday, August 4.

The new routine will be simpler: Starting on Monday, and every Monday, the research edition will cover our explicit recommendations on equities, bonds, and income notes along with key calls on the wider economy and selected investment sectors. Starting on Wednesday, August 6, and every Wednesday, the wealth management edition will cover everything your need to know to become a successful investor. We’ll bring you the best investment ideas, wealth accumulation strategies, tax and DIY advice.

As part of the change we will no longer publish on Fridays. However, your favourite ‘Friday’ writers such as Robert Gottliebsen, Percy Allan and Tim Treadgold will of course stay with us, appearing earlier in the week. And, as always, you’ll get Alan Kohler’s Weekly Review early on Saturday mornings.

Our guarantee to our subscribers has always been to deliver the very best investment information relevant to your life and your portfolio – we also want to respond to your specific demands.
