IT'S AUCTION time at Crown Casino again this week. Among the portfolio that Burgess Rawson is selling are the Woolworths BWS Liquor outlet and the nearby Reject Shop in Colac. The BWS is securely leased to Woolworths on an 8-plus-four by five-year lease to 2036 at a rental of $95,956 per year. It's expected to sell for about $1,350,000. The Reject Shop, located right next door to the Aldi supermarket, is larger than the BWS with rent at $132,915 per year and should sell for about $1.7 million. The Burgess Rawson auction starts at 11am on Wednesday.
Also up for auction is the Ritchies IGA in Church Street, Brighton, with rent estimated at $476,890 per year. It's tipped to sell for about $6.5 million.
Savills Australia is marketing a parcel of industrial land of more than 30,000 square metres, subdivided into four allotments, at FKP's Metrolink Business Park at Campbellfield in Melbourne's north. The private sale deadline closes on July 11 and is priced from $140 a square metre, plus GST. The properties 54, 56, 58 and 61-63 Metrolink Circuit range in size from 3921 to 16,261 square metres and are suited to logistics, warehousing and distribution tenants.
A securely leased strata-titled commercial investment in the Mentone shopping centre that would suit a small investor or self-managed superannuation will be auctioned by local agents Malcolms. It's expected to attract offers of at least $1.5 million. The property is tenanted under a five-year lease that began on February 8, 2010, with a further five-year option.
