Aust stocks close flat
Local market little changed as nervous investors wait for news on Syria.
The Australian stock market closed flat as cautious investors wait for clarity on the Syrian crisis.
At 1615 AEST official market close, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index inched up 0.05% to 5,145 at points, while the broader All Ordinaries index edged up 0.11% to 5,144 points.
IG analyst Stan Shamu said Asian markets have been mixed today.
"With the G20 meeting taking place, we are bound to continue hearing commentary around the Syria situation," Mr Shamu said.
"This has seen some investors exercise caution heading into the weekend."
