Aust stocks close flat
Local market little changed as financials and materials provide support.
The Australian stock market closed little changed in subdued trade despite falls in Asian markets.
At 1415 AEST official market close, the ASX200 benchmark index was up 0.09% to 5,046.3 points, while the broader All Ordinaries index inched up 0.08% to 5,027.9 points.
IG markets analyst Chris Weston said the local market had performed better than others in the region.
"The fact the ASX 200 has held up so well is positive, with financials and materials providing support," Mr Weston said.
"Asia is not looking too flash at present."
