The Australian dollar has rebounded, recovering from losses following the release of disappointing jobs data last week.

At 0630 AEST, the local unit was trading at 93.23 US cents, up from 92.38 on Friday.

The Australian dollar fell from a three-month high of 93.54 US cents to 92.29 immediately after the release of the labour force figures on Thursday, which showed the national unemployment rate reached a four-year high of 5.8% in August.
