A Huawei political minefield

Huawei was never really in the mix to get a piece of the NBN pie because of Canberra's reluctance to upset Washington. So, how will Beijing react to this snub?

For those of us who spend our lives in the bubble of the international telecoms industry it was not exactly a massive surprise to see the news that Chinese vendor Huawei would be blocked from bidding for work on the $38 billion National Broadband Network (NBN).
