The Thomastown Homemaker Centre in Melbourne's north has been sold for $26.75 million to a NSW-based private investor.

The centre is on the corner of Settlement and Dalton roads, a bulky goods precinct 17 kilometres from Melbourne's central business district. It is anchored by Harvey Norman, which occupies more than 50 per cent of its 16,500 square metres. Steve Wakeham and Mark Wizel of CB Richard Ellis negotiated the sale on behalf of ISPT. Mr Wakeham said about $350 million of bulky goods property had changed hands this year.
