The motto being repeated at API and Sigma headquareters is: 'if at first you don't succeed, try, try again'. That's what they're doing with their merger proposal which has been put before the ACCC for a third time. Last time the ACCC rejected the proposal on the basis that it would reduce the service level to pharmacies and consumers. We don't mind a growing company like Sigma at these prices, so even if the bid fails for a third time, we're happy for shareholders to HOLD FOR THE UPSIDE.
