Market Watch
The war in Iraq is the only thing on many investors' minds. Markets have been up on hopes of a quick war and back down on fears of a protracted one. Crude oil prices of course have done the opposite. Whilst the stockmarket will continue to be tied to the success of the coalitions efforts in Iraq, once this situation reaches resolution, whenever that may be, attention will revert to economic fundamentals – and they aren't looking great. But that shouldn't stop investors from grabbing bargains when they arise. The bull always follows the bear out of the forest, or whatever.
