Clarendon Street terrace fetches $1.1m

A TWO-STOREY, boom-style terrace at 355 Clarendon Street, South Melbourne, has been sold for $1,113,000. The property, on 180 square metres of land, was sold by Dixon Kestles & Co in a competitive auction. It will be up for short-term lease until the owner renovates. The sale follows that in March of 359 Clarendon Street also in the original Skeats Building that comprises three terraces. Brett Willis of Dixon Kestles said it showed buyers were coming back to the market.

Brandon Business Park at capacity

McPHERSON'S Consumer Products has signed a five-year lease deal for the last space in Brandon Business Park in Glen Waverley. The deal, negotiated by Joshua Tebb of Jones Lang LaSalle, allows McPherson's to consolidate its administrative operations. The 1157 square metres of office space is undergoing a fitout. Marks Henderson Funds Management bought the business park in Springvale Road four years ago for $57 million. Tenants include Telstra, QBE and Godfrey's.
