Objectives and Strategy

The Fund aims to provide capital growth over a three to five year period by primarily investing in the securities of Asian property or property-related companies across a range of market capitalisations with exposure to any, some, or all of the following: Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Republic of Korea, Thailand and Indonesia.
The Fund is managed by Value Partners using a disciplined value-oriented approach supported by intensive, on-the-ground bottom-up fundamental research resulting in a portfolio of individual holdings, which are, in the view of Value Partners, undervalued and of high quality, on either an absolute or relative basis, and which have the potential for capital appreciation.

Be rewarded for investing!

Recently, the federal government introduced a package of reforms known as the Future of Financial Advice - FoFA for short. Among other things, the package bans trailing fees and other commissions for new investments in retail investment products from 1 July 2013. That's good news for investors!

Unfortunately, the reforms don't cover existing investments - so even after 1 July 2013, you could find yourself paying hidden commissions on managed funds. That means TrailCap can still save you money.
