Continuing a series about the media consumption habits of people in the media industries. Participants compile a diary over two days, straddling a week day and the weekend.

Newspapers

6.15am: Reads The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian and The Daily Telegraph for 30 minutes.

At the weekend, reads The Sydney Morning Herald and The Australian. "Normally, I read Saturday's papers in short bursts 'cos I'm driving the kids round everywhere, but there was no sport this weekend so I had the luxury of reading the papers for an hour and a half."

Magazines

Mediaweek, Campaign Brief, BRW and Wish, inserted in The Australian.

"I'm not a real magazine reader, but

I flick through the newspapers' colour magazines. I like to see who's advertising in them."

Books

"None. I don't have the time unless I'm travelling or on holidays."

Radio

Driving to work at 7.30am, listens to Merrick and Rosso on Nova FM.

"I used to listen to the ABC, but with kids in the car I don't win that argument any more." In the evening, listens to The Wrong Way Home, with Akmal Saleh, Ed Kavalee and Cal Wilson, on Nova FM, or PM on the ABC.

Television

On Friday night, flicked between NRL match between Sydney Roosters and St George on Channel Nine and AFL finals match between Hawthorn and Western Bulldogs for around

30 minutes. Then watched Fight Club starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton on Foxtel.

At the weekend, watched ABC match of the day in the rugby union club competition for 15 minutes, then the Flemington races on TVN on Foxtel for 15 minutes. In the evening, watched the 7pm news on ABC and the AFL final between Sydney Swans and North Melbourne on Channel 10, for two hours.

Films

None. "I love movies but I'm just too busy. I don't think we've been (to the movies) once this year."

Websites

Looks at: smh.com.au, news.com.au, thesun.co.uk, nypost.com, bom.gov.au, bluejays.mlb.com, the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team's website, and thredbo.com.au.

At the weekend, looked at westpac.com.au, pgatour.org.au, the pro golf tour's website, and bom.gov.au.
