Virtus and Monash IVF claim to deliver

These IVF groups exceeded their profit forecasts but there’s more to it than meets the eye.

Like twins, the investment stories emerging from Australia’s two listed ‘assisted reproduction’ companies, Monash IVF and Virtus, bear many resemblances.

Both reported growing shares of their domestic markets and encouraging progress in nascent international ventures. Both also directed investors’ attention to the fact that they exceeded the net profit figures forecast in their prospectuses.
