Those being lured by the swathe of income securities coming to market need to take a look at this. Spark Infrastructure yields 7.5%, is a regulated, safe business and is almost certain to grow distributions over the next five years (management are forecasting 3-5% growth, which looks conservative to me).
Regular Bristlemouth readers will know how much I like this stock. And reading its results, out this morning, is a pleasurable experience. Everything exactly as expected from a predictable, reliable business. And then I came across this in the 'Fact Book':
Spark is now well positioned to assess further investment opportunities with a view to diversifying its portfolio – by asset class, geography or income stream.
Uh oh. That's a nice way to wreck my Monday morning.
