Ridley Corporation $1.34: Ridley has made yet another acquisition in Canada with the purchase of Macleod Feedmill Ltd of Fort which has an annual production of around 30,000 tons of concentrates and pre-mix products for beef and dairy cattle, poultry and hogs. Even in a market that has not been small company friendly, RIC's share price has held up well since our June 5 review. At current prices Ridley provides an attractive prospective FY99 yield of just over 6 per cent. This coupled with the obvious growth potential of the company, particularly in North America and Canada, makes the stock an attractive proposition. Speculative buy.
