Ridley - Will abandon its growth through volume strategy in the domestic feed business in an effort to lift margins. It has no plans to change the aggressive expansion strategy of North American business at this stage. During the six months to December 1997 earnings derived from domestic agri-business declined from $5.9m to $3m, a decline of 49%.
