My new year resolutions

Research indicates new year resolutions are a waste of time. According to the Journal of Clinical Psychology only 8% of people that make resolutions achieve them. Having utterly failed to achieve any of mine over the past five decades I can understand why. Self-improvement is a nice idea but soon enough life gets in the way. By February, I’ll be too busy eating to lose weight and too disorganised to get around to being better organised.
