Kingsrose Mining’s share price took an 11% tumble earlier this week as it released quarterly results showing an insidious combination of lower production and higher costs. The atrocious outcome was a result of a series of unfortunate events at its Indonesian mines; flooding, a worker death on site and planned lower output from its primary mine. This was an awful result, but likely to be a temporary. Production should resume at normal levels by next quarter. Today’s troubles represent an excellent buying opportunity to build a 2% position in one of the lowest cost gold miners in the industry....
