Goodman Group: Back from the brink

Goodman Group is in the right place at the right time, but its markets look 'frothy' according to CEO Greg Goodman, and there's no margin of safety in its shares.

In March 2009, with fears over its ability to refinance $4bn of net debt, the share price of Goodman Group sank to just 78 cents – down from more than $35 just eighteen months earlier. Founder and chief executive Greg Goodman's stake collapsed from a peak value of over $1 billion to just $15m.
